WHAT ARE CONNECT CORDS?
The Bright Lights Pre-Launch Connect Cords collection represent and connect us to the best parts ofĀ us, the best parts inĀ each other &Ā investing in the best for the world.
For every Cord bought, weāll donate 10% of the profits to (bracelet dependent) organizations advancing human rightsāright now via women in elected office, voter protection, racial justice, access to mental health support for girls of color, protection against employment discrimination, empathy training in schools, bipartisan initiatives to serve the voter, pro bono counseling for the Covid frontline, feeding families impacted by Covid, investigating forced hysterectomies of women in deterntion centers, support for small children facing immigration hearings alone, and bridge building between Jewish and Arab children in Israel.

Meet The FOUNDER
Hi, Iām Sarašš½ I'm so happy you're here! Iām honored to be the founder and member of such a special community. In fact, if I wasnāt the founder, Iād still 1000% want to be in this community because of what it stands for and the exceptional people who are apart.
My belief in the importance of knowing our worth, being fought for and the way our identity can shape how we treat others was formed early. When I was born doctors said it was highly unlikely Iād ever be able to walk, talk, see, analyze or socialize. My mom refused the prognosis. I cheered, am now an attorney & my distance vision is crap but I get to don cute glasses so not mad at it.š As a proudly Black, Italian, French, Portuguese, Chinese & Native American woman, growing upāI was painfully deemed too blackā for white kids, ātoo whiteā for black kids.
As a woman who has now experienced much more severe forms of prejudice, who grew up feeling alienated at times & who is adamantlyĀ convicted weāre beautifully connected and STRONGER TOGETHERā I'm a believer in creating spaces that HONOR what MAKES US UNIQUE, what UNITES us and the power in both. I'm confident that together we can deconstruct systemically prejudicial systems and that part of that process simply begins with us seeingĀ we arenāt alone and doing whatever we can with what we have where we are. Ā And withoutĀ Jesus, I wouldnāt be here. Foundational to myĀ passion toĀ love each person, to celebrate the pricelessness of every life and for justice is my belief that itās He values mostāwe are what He values most.
When I'm not dreaming of ways to remind people of their worth, champion the underserved or imaginingĀ how companies can serve more people most effectively, youāll find me where there is an ocean, opportunity for authentic connection or pizza.
Looking forward to all ahead for us--the ways we will get to support each other, remind one another of the treasure resident within and be apart of releasingĀ streams of justice!Ā
